Nissan has launched the completely new 2023 X-Trail in the Middle East, as part of its strategy to reinforce its leadership in the SUV segment across the region.
The all-new 2023 Nissan X-Trail is designed as a modern, premium crossover, reflecting the brand’s commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions. It offers industry-leading flexibility, advanced safety features, enhanced performance, and striking exterior and interior designs.
Tyler Sabagh, President of Nissan Saudi Arabia and InfiniTI Middle East, and Executive Director at Nissan Middle East, said: “For over two decades, the X-Trail has been an essential part of our SUV lineup in the region. It continues to meet the needs of families and adventure enthusiasts throughout the Middle East. The design of the new 2023 X-Trail is rooted in a deep understanding of our customers. It stands as one of the most technologically advanced mid-size SUVs available today, aligning perfectly with evolving customer demands and Nissan’s global transformation plan, Nissan NEXT.”
The new 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine delivers 181 horsepower—12 more than the previous model—and increases torque by 11 Nm to 244 Nm, enhancing acceleration and improving driving confidence. This power boost is supported by a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, allowing drivers to override automatic control and take manual command.
The 2023 X-Trail is equipped for the first time with an intelligent all-wheel drive system featuring direct coupling, enabling faster response and smoother power distribution between axles for maximum stability. A rotary control dial offers five driving modes: Off-Road, Snow, Auto, Eco, and Sports, along with an integrated downhill control system.
Advanced safety features from Nissan Intelligent Mobility are combined with upgraded capabilities, making this X-Trail version the safest yet. It includes the Safety Shield 360 suite: automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, high-beam assist, lane departure prevention, and reverse alert systems. For the first time ever on the X-Trail, ProPILOT Assist provides semi-autonomous driver assistance, enabling adaptive speed control and automatic braking or acceleration within a single lane.
The all-new model gives customers the freedom to choose a trim that matches their lifestyle. Available in four trims with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive options, it comes in 15 distinct colors—including five dual-tone combinations. Interior configurations include five- or seven-seat layouts.
The 2023 X-Trail reflects Nissan’s latest design direction and is the fourth generation of the SUV lineup to feature the brand’s newest emblem, following Patrol, Pathfinder, and Kicks. The new 2023 X-Trail is now available for reservation through Nissan dealerships across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region.
