Volkswagen is set to launch the new T-Roc in three trims: the base Life trim, the Style trim for those who appreciate elegant design and advanced technology, and the R-Line trim for enthusiasts seeking superior performance.
All new T-Roc trims are equipped with a 1.4-liter TSI engine featuring turbocharging, delivering 110 kilowatts (150 horsepower) and 250 Newton-meters of torque, paired with an eight-speed transmission. The new T-Roc achieves the highest fuel efficiency in Volkswagen's lineup, consuming just 6.3 liters per 100 kilometers both in city and highway driving. Drivers can access maximum torque at low engine speeds thanks to the turbocharger and direct fuel injection technology.
Technology lies at the heart of the new T-Roc. All trims come standard with a digital cockpit display, wireless connectivity between the screen and mobile apps, navigation system, front and rear parking sensors, and blind-spot monitoring assistance. Adaptive cruise control is available as an optional feature. Safety remains a top priority for Volkswagen, so the new T-Roc includes an emergency assist system designed to take control if the driver becomes incapacitated. If sensors detect no movement on the steering wheel, brake pedal, or accelerator, the system initiates a gradual sequence of actions—starting with vibrations in the steering wheel to alert the driver and culminating in automatic braking to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.
The updates to the T-Roc extend beyond systems and technology to include a refreshed interior featuring distinctive touches, sleek aerodynamic styling, premium materials, refined stitching, and a modern front dashboard with a tablet-like independent display for information and entertainment systems. A multi-functional leather steering wheel is standard, enhancing driver access to the intuitive and responsive vehicle controls. The exterior has also been updated with five available color options and new design enhancements that boost the car’s distinctiveness and appeal, with additional customization choices available to suit individual preferences. New features include signature LED headlights, darkened taillights, and new 16- and 19-inch alloy wheels.
