The new Range Rover Sport SV stands out as the most powerful and dynamic variant in the Range Rover Sport lineup, seamlessly blending exceptional performance and agility with the unique capabilities of Range Rover, advanced and minimalist design. Its enhanced performance technologies include the most advanced suspension system in its class and a tactile audio system, along with multiple safety and comfort features.
As the pinnacle of modern luxury performance, the updated Range Rover Sport lineup is led by this model, showcasing enhanced sports car driving prowess, dynamic capability, and a strong presence that pushes boundaries into new frontiers.
The Range Rover Sport SV, certified for high-performance excellence, features a distinctive aerodynamic design to enhance rigidity and visual impact, with lightweight functional options and technical materials that further elevate its supreme performance capabilities.
Powered exclusively by a new 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 MHEV gasoline engine delivering 635 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque—60 horsepower and 50 Nm more than the previous-generation Range Rover Sport SVR's 5.0-liter V8—the new Range Rover Sport SV accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 mph. CO2 emissions are reduced by 15% compared to the prior model, despite higher power output.
This outstanding performance is enabled by significant weight savings of up to 76 kg, including the world’s first 23-inch carbon fiber wheel option on a production vehicle, optional carbon ceramic brakes (available for the first time on a Range Rover), and aerodynamic enhancements aligned with standards, such as a carbon fiber engine cover.
The new Range Rover Sport SV embodies the brand’s philosophy of contemporary luxury and will be available exclusively to a select global audience. Invitations will be issued specifically to explore the first SV edition, which offers the finest specifications, colors, and finishes. Each vehicle in this initial batch features exclusive branding elements on the front splitter, center console, floor mats, and lighting—crafted uniquely for loyal Range Rover customers.
At the heart of the new Range Rover Sport SV is the innovative 6D Dynamics suspension system—the most advanced in its class—making its global debut with a combination of interconnected hydraulic dampers, adjustable-height air struts, and intelligent control settings. This revolutionary semi-active system eliminates the need for traditional anti-roll bars, dramatically reducing body roll and pitch during aggressive cornering and acceleration, while enhancing stability, handling precision, and ride comfort without compromise.
The 6D Dynamics system operates between 10 mm and 25 mm lower than other Range Rover Sport models, depending on driving mode, and integrates smoothly with the chassis and advanced suspension systems. Unique SV settings are applied to the intelligent all-wheel drive, full-variable steering, torque vectoring via braking, configurable dynamics, and active rear differential lock, delivering a sharper, more track-inspired driving experience—especially in the newly introduced SV driving mode.
Enhanced road dynamics are complemented by a high-performance braking system developed specifically for the SV, offering customers a choice between standard dual-metallic caliper brakes and an optional carbon ceramic brake system.
Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB), introduced for the first time on a Range Rover, deliver superior stopping power with improved resistance to high temperatures, extended lifespan, and a total weight reduction of up to 34 kg compared to the upgraded cast-iron discs used in the standard Range Rover Sport SV. This mass reduction at each corner results in more responsive handling, stronger acceleration, and an overall refined driving experience.
The exterior design of the new high-performance Range Rover Sport SV includes a unique front fascia with enhanced airflow channels, reshaped side sills, and quad carbon fiber exhaust tips that form key visual elements at the rear. Additional carbon fiber details complete the design: front splitter blades, grille frame, engine cover vents, and side intake openings—all finished with a visible carbon fiber central section on the engine cover.
The updated Range Rover Sport lineup is now available starting from £83,620 OTR in the UK.
