New BMW 3 Series Sedan and Touring Models Unveiled

Through design updates and enhancements in digital systems, control/operation, and equipment, the new BMW 3 Series marks another chapter in the global success story of this iconic model.

The refreshed front and rear styling highlights the sporty character that defines the BMW 3 Series Sedan and BMW 3 Series Touring. The BMW Operating System 8, featuring a curved display from BMW, adds a modern touch inside the cabin. All variants of the new BMW 3 Series now come standard with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, steering wheel gear shift paddles, and a sleek new gear selector lever.

With its elegant sporty design and precise handling, the BMW 3 Series has set a benchmark for driving pleasure in the mid-size luxury segment since its inception. It embodies the essence of the BMW brand. The new sports sedan, which has enjoyed widespread acclaim for over 45 years, and the Touring model—first introduced 35 years ago—will be unveiled in July 2022.

Clear surface contours, dynamic lines, and large air intakes enhance the front apron, further emphasizing the sporty appearance of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and BMW 3 Series Touring. The generous use of body-colored surfaces and refined design give the rear apron of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and BMW 3 Series Touring a particularly sophisticated look.

The focus on dynamism and modernity evident in the exterior design is also reflected in the new model lineup. The new BMW 3 Series features a bold, sporty appearance as standard—a visual trait further accentuated by the standard Shadowline M gloss trim.

The interior of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and BMW 3 Series Touring has undergone a comprehensive update. The 12.3-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel seamlessly integrates with the 14.9-inch curved control display into a single high-resolution digital cockpit. The advanced cockpit layout features a digital system that significantly reduces physical buttons and controls in favor of touch and voice commands.

Three-zone automatic climate control and navigation are now standard features in the vehicle.
