Updated 04:01 PM,May 5,2023

Maserati has announced its participation in the ninth round of the Formula E World Championship, hosted in Monaco on the city's iconic street circuit, taking place this Saturday, May 6. With its debut in the fully electric racing series, Maserati aims to build on its recent success in Berlin, where it achieved its first-ever podium finish in history. The brand will showcase two of its vehicles in the world’s most renowned casino square.

The Gran Turismo Folgore, the brand’s first fully electric vehicle, stands alongside the high-performance Gran Turismo Trofeo equipped with an internal combustion engine, both positioned in front of the luxurious palace that houses one of Monte Carlo’s most famous landmarks. Joining them is the advanced third-generation single-seater Tipo Folgore, which will compete in the weekend’s race in Monaco. The Gran Turismo models will remain on display for the public until Saturday, May 6, while the Tipo Folgore, driven by Maserati MSO Racing, returns to its usual racing track on Monday, May 1, in preparation for the next thrilling competition.
