The L100 made its first appearance at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, celebrating Lincoln’s centennial milestone. Its serene designs deliver connected experiences that reimagine what a perfect sanctuary in a future vehicle could be.
The new model features striking aesthetic details that captivate on approach, embodying the L100 concept’s vibrant elegance, strength, and mystery. With an elegant, dynamic design inspired by aviation, the convertible interior space enhances human connection within a refined sanctuary that authentically reflects Lincoln’s values and lifestyle.
The L100 was engineered as a fully autonomous vehicle, offering intelligent driving experiences, seamless connectivity, and cutting-edge software innovations that redefine Lincoln’s vision and pave the way for the brand to reshape the future of mobility.
It utilizes the next-generation battery cell technology, delivering revolutionary energy density and enabling efficient structural integration by treating the vehicle as a unified system. This advanced approach allows for a sleeker design that expands interior cabin space, giving designers greater flexibility to craft Lincoln’s distinctive future experience.
The central interactive control panel features a jewelry-inspired console that captures light and depth, redefining in-cabin controls. Replacing the traditional steering wheel, this console delivers a navigation experience that is effortlessly smooth and intuitive.
The new model boasts a low-slung, aerodynamic profile inspired by aviation—offering comfort, elegance, and fluidity. Its flowing lines include the signature K-shaped details at the rear, which help direct airflow above the vehicle.
The panoramic glass roof and rear-hinged doors create a sense of celebration and spaciousness, enhanced by Lincoln Embrace—the welcoming feature for passengers. Smart wheel covers further amplify this effect, using lighting and sensors to indicate motion, battery life, and human presence.
Advanced lighting creates a coordinated symphony of interior and exterior illumination, crafting a sensory haven tailored to each passenger. Lincoln’s design team crafted the L100 cabin with touches of amethyst in the recycled, hand-stitched leather, incorporating animal-friendly materials and luxurious alternatives. For the exterior, metallic and acrylic finishes were chosen over chrome, paired with a three-layer digital ceramic coating to highlight a warm, soft white hue that transitions into a cool blue tone.
The interior is fully designed to deliver an immersive environment, where digital flooring and ambient lighting harmonize to create a customized atmosphere. The experimental L100 pays homage to the brand’s design legacy, drawing inspiration from the 1922 L model created after Ford Motor Company acquired Lincoln. The 1922 model earned widespread acclaim for its exceptional engineering, serving as the foundation for Lincoln’s evolution in design and the beginning of its luxury identity.
The stunningly designed engine cover, originally selected by Edsel Ford in the 1920s, symbolizes grace, elegance, and speed. Visible through the transparent hood, it captures depth and light with striking effect.
