Limited Edition Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary for Giulia and Stelvio

Updated 04:14 PM,Apr 18,2023

April 15, 2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the first appearance of Alfa Romeo's legendary Quadrifoglio emblem, unveiled on a specially prepared racing version of the 'RL' car during the 14th edition of the Targa Florio.

In celebration of this milestone, Alfa Romeo introduces the exclusive commemorative editions of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio: the “Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario.” Production is limited to just 100 units each for the Giulia and Stelvio. This special edition embodies a century of relentless innovation and technical excellence, achieved through both race-track performance and production vehicles. Over the years, Quadrifoglio models have consistently integrated cutting-edge technologies, establishing themselves as leaders in their class with unmatched handling, superior power-to-weight ratios, and an exhilarating Alfa Romeo driving experience. The limited edition comes equipped with numerous new features, including anniversary celebration badges, exclusive design elements, newly developed adaptive LED matrix headlights, and a completely redesigned digital instrument cluster with a distinctive “telescopic” layout.

To honor a century of pure sports car heritage, the Quadrifoglio returns to its roots in Sicily. Alfa Romeo chose the island as the backdrop for a commemorative photo session that highlights Italian tradition, celebrates Italian craftsmanship, and showcases the essence of “Made in Italy.” After 100 years, the Quadrifoglio journey continues—innovation persists, and future ambitions are inspired by a rich legacy.

The “Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario” editions of the Giulia and Stelvio represent over a century of pursuit for technical excellence applied across both racing and production vehicles. The V6 engine has been enhanced to deliver 520 horsepower (for Europe, the UK, and China), paired with a new mechanical limited-slip differential introduced exclusively in this limited run. This differential results from extensive tuning during the development of the Giulia GTA and plays a key role in improving traction, vehicle dynamics, torque distribution, stability, and agility when navigating high-speed corners.

The two new models achieve the highest levels of dynamic performance in their class, thanks to significant weight reduction using lightweight materials such as aluminum in the engine and carbon fiber in the driveshaft, engine cover, air diffusers, and structural reinforcements. The Giulia retains active aerodynamic features, including a carbon fiber front splitter that regulates airflow beneath the car to enhance stability and peak performance. Additionally, the Akrapovič exhaust system delivers a uniquely powerful and distinctive engine note.

The bold sporty character is evident in the exterior design of both the Giulia and Stelvio, retaining the signature “3+3” headlight configuration that defines the model range. The new models feature advanced adaptive Full-LED Matrix headlights offering glare-free illumination tailored to driving conditions, significantly enhancing safety, reducing eye strain, and optimizing energy efficiency. The Giulia comes with five-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels, while the Stelvio features 21-inch wheels with new exclusive gold brake calipers. The 100th anniversary badge is painted in the same elegant color as the car body and appears on both front fenders. For added sportiness, the front grille and mirror caps are crafted from carbon fiber. The models are available in three colors: Rosso Etna, Verde Montreal, and Nero Vulcan.

The sporty spirit extends into the cabin, where a custom blend of black leather and Alcantara is used, complemented by new exclusive gold stitching and a revolutionary three-dimensional carbon fiber design featured on the dashboard, center console, and door trims. The dashboard includes the number “100” embroidered next to the golden Quadrifoglio emblem, while the steering wheel is wrapped in black leather and Alcantara with black stitching and carbon fiber accents.

All these enhancements elevate the Alfa Romeo driving experience—whether through exclusive design, advanced technology, or innovative connectivity systems. This is reflected in the new historic “telescopic” instrument cluster, featuring a full 12.3-inch TFT display for the first time, providing all essential vehicle information and driver controls. In addition to the standard display modes found across all Alfa Romeo models (Evolved, Relax, and Heritage), the “Race” mode is now exclusive to the Quadrifoglio and available for the first time in this model line.

The “Race” mode displays key driver information on the central screen: tachometer, speedometer, and gear indicator for manual shifting. The layout can be customized with additional performance data displayed in side gauges.
