In a move that adds new levels of elegance and luxury to the premium crossover segment, Lexus by Al Futtaim has unveiled the all-new Lexus RX in the United Arab Emirates. The fifth-generation RX models have been completely reimagined, delivering a modern aesthetic, enhanced comfort, and superior performance like never before—while also supporting the goal of a carbon-neutral society through three powertrain options, two of which are electric.

The all-new Lexus RX is built on the globally scalable Lexus GA-K platform, delivering exceptional body rigidity and a low center of gravity for an exceptionally engaging driving experience. Combined with a new suspension system featuring MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear, the platform enhances ride comfort, stability, and unique handling characteristics, offering drivers a smooth, confident, and distinctive drive.
To further enhance its striking appearance and deliver a more dynamic driving experience, the all-new Lexus RX is available in three distinct powertrain configurations. The first features a newly developed 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 246 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with direct shift capability. The second option is a hybrid electric system combining a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 247 horsepower. This hybrid system is paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (e-CVT), achieving fuel efficiency of up to 20.7 km/L. The third option is a new hybrid electric system featuring a 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and an electric motor, generating a combined output of 366 horsepower. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and achieves a fuel efficiency of 15.5 km/L, while significantly enhancing driving enjoyment.
The all-new Lexus RX’s interior offers passengers and drivers a refined and luxurious experience, equipped with advanced features. These include a new 14-inch touch-enabled multimedia display compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, a 7-inch color multi-information display (MID) positioned centrally on the dashboard, a heads-up display (HUD) projecting data onto the windshield, wireless smartphone charging, six USB ports, and a 12V power outlet. Additionally, the vehicle features Lexus’s advanced automatic climate control system, which maintains precise cabin temperature settings tailored to individual passengers. The system includes three independent climate zones and rear air vents with dedicated controls. The intelligent S-FLOW technology automatically detects occupied seats and adjusts heating or cooling accordingly, factoring in seat occupancy, cabin temperature, ambient conditions, and sunlight penetration.

Drivers can enjoy peace of mind thanks to the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, which integrates a suite of advanced safety technologies and driver assistance systems. This includes the Pre-Collision System (PCS) with expanded detection capabilities for vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, and motorcycles. New features include Emergency Steering Assist (ESA), Low-Speed Acceleration Prevention, and Intersection Collision Avoidance Assistance.
For those seeking the most responsive and exhilarating driving experience, Lexus proudly introduces the RX 500h F SPORT Performance—the brand’s first turbocharged hybrid electric vehicle. This new hybrid system features a front unit comprising a 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and an electric motor, along with a rear eAxle unit consisting of an additional electric motor that boosts torque for improved acceleration, especially from a standstill and at lower speeds. Meanwhile, the turbocharged engine delivers high torque across the entire RPM range, ensuring strong acceleration even at higher speeds. The RX 500h F SPORT Performance also features the new DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system, which dynamically enhances traction between front and rear wheels, delivering a driving experience defined by agility and power.
