Lamborghini has unveiled the all-new Urus Performante, setting a new benchmark for high-performance driving in super SUVs, during The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering event. The Urus Performante represents the most advanced and technologically refined version of the Urus lineup to date, now recognized as the fastest production SUV ever to conquer Pikes Peak, completing the ascent in 10 minutes and 32.064 seconds—shattering the previous record set by the Bentley Bentayga in 2018, which stood at 10 minutes and 49.902 seconds.
The Urus Performante raises the bar in terms of sporty dynamics and high performance, with design elements that reflect its power on the road, track, and off-road terrain alike. It delivers 666 horsepower and weighs 47 kg (103.6 lbs) less than its predecessor, achieving the best power-to-weight ratio in its class at 3.2 points. The new Pikes Peak champion accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0–62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds—0.3 seconds faster than the standard Urus—and brakes from 100 to 0 km/h (62–0 mph) in only 32.9 meters (107.9 feet), improving by 0.8 meters (-2.6 feet).
Alongside the Urus Performante, Lamborghini showcased several models at The Quail, including the open-top Huracán EVO RWD Spyder, the race-inspired Huracán STO, and the newly introduced Huracán Tecnica—engineered to deliver the ultimate experience on both roads and racetracks.
With a forward-looking vision, Lamborghini also revealed a refreshed brand logo to mark its 60th anniversary, ahead of international celebrations planned for 2023. The largest gathering will take place in May at Sant’Agata Bolognese, the company’s headquarters, celebrating what is regarded as the future that began in 1963. The new logo design draws inspiration from the brand’s rich heritage centered around the iconic raging bull symbol, reflecting a strong, enduring connection across generations of Lamborghini vehicles and the brand’s core identity.
