Lamborghini Revuelto: First Hybrid Supercar with V12 Engine

 To mark the brand's 60th anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini introduces the Revuelto — the first high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) with a V12 engine and plug-in capability. The Revuelto redefines performance, driving dynamics, and sporty excellence through innovative engineering, groundbreaking design, and highly efficient aerodynamics, along with a new carbon-fiber architecture. This car delivers an impressive 1,015 horsepower (CV) by combining a completely new internal combustion engine with three electric motors, plus a dual-clutch transmission making its debut in a Lamborghini V12 model.

The powertrain system integrates high-performance components: a newly developed internal combustion engine delivering 127 horsepower per liter works in harmony with two front-axle electric generators, achieving an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. A radial electric generator is mounted directly above an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox — a first for a Lamborghini V12 model. The three electric motors are powered by a high-energy-density lithium-ion battery pack (4,500 W/kg), enabling full-electric driving mode as well.
