Jeep® Unveils New Wrangler in UAE

Updated 02:11 AM,Feb 22,2024

The all-new 2024 Jeep Wrangler has been launched in the United Arab Emirates, marking the largest and most renowned off-road SUV globally. The vehicle delivers exceptional off-road performance thanks to Jeep’s pioneering design, advanced driving features, modern mobility systems, and highly efficient driving mechanisms across all terrains, combined with innovative safety functions and cutting-edge technologies. The 2024 model introduces a new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine for the Sport and Sahara trims, delivering strong torque, superior efficiency, and outstanding acceleration—setting new benchmarks in the Wrangler lineup’s mobility technology.

To enhance the Jeep driving experience, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with start-stop technology is available, generating 270 horsepower and up to 400 Newton-meters of torque. This engine seamlessly integrates with an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. Equipped with a dual-scroll turbocharger featuring low inertia and an electronically controlled exhaust gas flow valve, it ensures top-tier responsiveness and performance. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine exemplifies Jeep’s innovative engineering, with a tightly mounted turbocharger on the cylinder head for enhanced durability, a dedicated cooling system regulating internal air temperature efficiently, and an optimized intake manifold and turbocharger design.

The 3.6-liter engine remains available for the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon to deliver powerful performance, enhancing its already exceptional capabilities. An upgraded mobility system is also offered as an optional feature for the Sport and Sahara trims, further elevating the signature Wrangler driving experience.

The new 2024 Wrangler offers unmatched capabilities, improved driving dynamics, and modern safety features, enabled by its body-on-frame architecture and a precision-engineered five-link suspension system.

Four underbody panels are included to protect critical components during off-road driving, including the fuel tank, transmission, and automatic gearbox oil pan.

Lightweight yet ultra-strong aluminum doors, door hinges, hood, bumpers, and the rear door made from magnesium help reduce overall vehicle weight and fuel consumption.

The 2024 Wrangler is equipped with a five-link suspension system known for its high efficiency. The front suspension features upper and lower control arms made from high-strength steel for longitudinal control and a lateral control arm for transverse axle stability.

The rear five-link suspension mirrors the front design, incorporating upper and lower control arms made from high-strength steel for longitudinal control and a lateral control arm for transverse axis management.

High-strength, full-width steel control arms at both front and rear ensure minimal lateral axle movement by maintaining consistent angles during suspension travel.

Bumpers have been carefully tuned to achieve optimal balance between on-road handling and off-road performance, providing a comfortable ride, excellent body roll control, and unprecedented dynamic driving capability.

In Wrangler Rubicon models, the front sway bar is electronically disconnected to maximize wheel articulation when required for extreme off-road conditions.

The all-new 2024 Jeep Wrangler boasts a sleek design that blends classic Jeep styling with modern touches. The distinctive seven-slot grille features a contemporary look with black slats, gray metallic edges, and a body-color frame (platinum silver accents on the Sahara trim). The modern grille combines elegance with slim profile, while the vertical black slats improve cooling efficiency.

The traditional steel antenna has been replaced with a modern integrated glass antenna, enhancing the vehicle’s clean appearance and eliminating the risk of damage from tree branches along the roadside.

Optional equipment tailored for open-top experiences includes two rigid roofs (available in black or body color), sunshades for the rigid roof, dual doors, and partially opening doors—offering customers extensive customization options to match their adventure and off-road needs.

The 2024 Wrangler is available in distinctive body colors, including: Anvil (a new color), Iron, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Zenith Silver, Hi-Visibility, Hydro Blue, Pure White, and Black.

The refined interior features innovative functions, advanced technology, and Jeep heritage elements with versatile usability. The central dashboard draws inspiration from Jeep’s rich legacy, showcasing a white-carved design that complements the horizontal front panel. The instrument cluster features smooth, innovative surfaces crafted from fabric or polyurethane with contrasting stitching, while a device mounting bracket is located above the front dashboard.

A completely new 12.3-inch touch-enabled display—the largest and most advanced ever in a Wrangler—hosts the fifth-generation Uconnect 5 infotainment system, mounted above the center console’s air vent in a thin rectangular housing. The iconic circular exterior air vents remain unchanged.

The Uconnect 5 system operates five times faster than its predecessor. It runs on Android OS and supports over-the-air updates, enabling continuous delivery of new content, features, and services.

The 2024 Wrangler comes with premium connectivity features for passengers on the move. Front passenger convenience has been enhanced with Type-C USB ports offering charging speeds up to four times faster. The vehicle provides seven USB ports (Type A and Type C) across both front and rear seats, with standard 12-volt outlets throughout. A 230-volt AC power outlet is also included, allowing operation of household electronics.
