GM Canada Middle East has announced that the 2022 GMC Terrain is now available across all showrooms in the Middle East. Featuring a refreshed design, it introduces the groundbreaking Terrain AT4 model—the first of its kind—engineered to be bolder and packed with more performance-oriented features than ever before, perfectly meeting the adventurous spirit of customers in the region.
The 2022 Terrain is meticulously crafted to maximize every feature and equipment package, making it suitable for any driver regardless of preference. The 2022 model version of this compact SUV has been made more assertive both inside and out. It boasts a new front appearance with modernized grille and fascia designs across the entire lineup, enhanced exclusive GMC C-shaped lighting featuring redesigned LED headlights and taillights, creating a refined and commanding presence. Additionally, the new model offers completely redesigned interior trims and packages to elevate the driving experience.
The new Terrain comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) across all trim levels. It features anti-lock disc brakes with 11.8-inch rotors in the front and 11.3 inches at the rear, reducing wheel lockup risk and enhancing directional control during hard braking on slippery surfaces.
Under the hood, this five-seat model is powered by a 1.5-liter engine with direct fuel injection and variable valve timing (VVT), paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The engine delivers 170 horsepower and 275 Newton-meters (203 lb-ft) of torque, featuring a four-cylinder configuration with dual overhead camshafts.
To enhance enjoyment and practicality on the road, the Terrain is now optionally available with an 8-inch driver information display, a brand-new heads-up display projecting information onto the windshield, a high-definition surround-view system, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. Additional features include forward and rear parking assistance, and automatic emergency braking for added peace of mind.
