The all-new 2024 Jeep Wrangler, the world’s most powerful and renowned vehicle, reinforces its leadership position with a unique blend of exceptional off-road capabilities, pioneering Jeep design, open-air driving freedom, advanced engines, top-tier driving dynamics across all terrains, and an extensive suite of safety features and innovative technologies.
Jeep has elevated the 2024 Wrangler’s off-road performance to new heights, introducing the first fully floating Dana rear axle, a new Warn winch, and improved towing capacity reaching 5,000 pounds. Inside the cabin, customers enjoy enhanced comfort and safety with newly equipped front seats featuring electric adjustment, a 12.3-inch touch-screen Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and standard side-impact airbags for both front and second-row seats.
The 2024 Wrangler will be available in four trims: Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392. The Rubicon trim is the only one powered by a 3.6-liter engine, while Sport and Sahara models come with 2.0-liter engines.
The new Wrangler offers customers the widest selection of engines in its off-road category, allowing drivers to choose the powertrain that best matches their lifestyle. The high-performance Rubicon 392 is exclusively equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the 2.0L and 3.6L internal combustion engines are paired with either six-speed or eight-speed automatic transmissions.
2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine: 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
3.6L V6 engine: 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
6.4L V8 engine: 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
The 2024 Wrangler continues to set new benchmarks in its class, featuring a fully floating Dana 44 HD rear axle on Rubicon trims (with 35-inch tires standard across all Rubicon variants).
The Wrangler Rubicon 392 comes equipped with a 470-horsepower engine and includes the Xtreme 35 package as standard, featuring a 4.56 gear ratio and a full-time Selec-Trac transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range ratio.
New features for Rubicon trims include a front-mounted steel bumper with a 8,000-pound Warn winch and removable covers.
Safety was a top priority throughout the development of the new Wrangler, offering over 85 safety features. Standard safety equipment across all 2024 trims includes side-impact airbags for both front and second-row passengers, combined with standard front passenger and driver airbags, as well as side-impact airbags mounted within the front seats.
The new Wrangler also features seat belts for second-row side passengers with automatic retraction and force limitation, along with structural enhancements to improve performance during side-impact collisions.
The sleek new Wrangler interior is packed with innovative technology and multi-functional Jeep systems. All trims come standard with hands-free voice commands, now utilizing an array of microphones. The award-winning fifth-generation Uconnect 5 system features a brand-new 12.3-inch touch screen—the largest and most advanced ever in a Wrangler—positioned prominently above the center console, directly above the new elegant rectangular interior vent. The updated Uconnect 5 delivers expanded connectivity services and enhanced user experience.
The new Wrangler is equipped with advanced technologies to keep occupants connected while on the move. The driver and front passenger get standard USB-C ports, enabling charging up to four times faster than conventional speeds. A total of seven USB ports—including both Type A and Type C—are available across both rows of seating.
The new 2024 Wrangler will be available in regional markets later this year.
