Genesis Middle East and Africa has officially launched the long-wheelbase G70 model, named "Shooting Brake," in regional markets.
The term "Shooting Brake" refers to a car body style rooted in European automotive history, now embraced by luxury car manufacturers as a hallmark of design sophistication.
The G70 Shooting Brake, first unveiled at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed, is derived from the original luxury sedan G70, featuring an extended rear cargo area that enhances practicality. The model embodies Genesis’s signature design philosophy of "athletic elegance," blending sporty character with refined aesthetics.
The G70 Shooting Brake elevates the brand’s luxury positioning and strengthens its vehicle lineup, offering greater versatility to meet diverse customer needs while delivering enhanced functionality and real-world usability.
While sharing the same overall design language as the new G70 Sedan, the Shooting Brake variant features a slightly lowered front grille, positioned lower than the prominent quad headlights that extend outward just slightly, enhancing the car’s dynamic appearance and reinforcing its powerful, robust stance.
The side profile delivers a striking visual impression through a seamless one-piece glass roof extending rearward and a floating-style rear spoiler, creating a distinctive exterior look that underscores both luxury and performance.
The rear cargo compartment, designed with a movable panel to expand storage space, highlights the model’s unique practicality tailored for various lifestyles. The signature Genesis quad lights continue along the tailgate, forming a cohesive and distinctive visual identity.
