Genesis Motors Europe, the global luxury automotive brand, unveiled the electric version of the GV70 model—named GV70 Electrified—at this year’s new edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The upcoming Electrified GV70 marks the third electric vehicle launched by the brand within a single year, following the introduction of the GV60 and Electrified G80. Today, the official launch was announced at Genesis’ pavilion during the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of the largest automotive events in the UK. The unveiling was performed by the Duke of Richmond alongside Andrew Beilby, Regional Managing Director and Operations Lead for Genesis UK, who removed the cover from the new model during the event.
The Electrified GV70 embodies the award-winning "Athletic Elegance" design philosophy, representing a significant milestone in the journey of this South Korean luxury automaker toward a new era in electric mobility. The new model showcases cutting-edge electric engineering through its design, delivering exceptional driving performance, advanced charging flexibility, and competitive features that surpass those offered by fully electric vehicles on the market.
Visitors can explore the features and specifications of the Electrified GV70 at the Genesis pavilion, as well as view other leading models and equipment from the brand, including the Electrified G80, GV80 SUV, G70 Shooting Brake, and GV60.
The pavilion also features the Genesis X Speedium Coupe, making its European debut after its global reveal in New York earlier this year. These new models exemplify the bold evolution of Genesis’ design philosophy—Athletic Elegance—offering visitors an exclusive glimpse into the future look of Genesis electric vehicles.
