Toyota Filoza, a completely new and fully redesigned sport utility vehicle, has been launched by Al-Futtaim Toyota as part of its commitment to enhancing the driving experience with added value and enjoyment. The new family-oriented vehicle, featuring seven seats, combines spacious cabin space, elegant design, comfort, and practical performance. It is equipped with a range of modern features developed specifically for the UAE market to meet the needs of contemporary families.
The 2023 Toyota Filoza’s advanced platform, rigid body structure, and upgraded suspension system deliver high levels of vehicle control, stability, and ride comfort—whether navigating rough terrain or carrying multiple passengers. Drivers can choose from three distinct driving modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport, allowing optimal adaptation to various driving conditions and styles. The vehicle also boasts impressive maneuverability, with a turning radius of just five meters.
The all-new 2023 Toyota Filoza offers a dynamic driving experience powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshafts and 16 valves, utilizing Toyota’s Dual VVT-i intelligent variable valve timing technology. This setup delivers smooth acceleration, quick response, and generates 105 horsepower and 138 Newton-meters of torque, while achieving a fuel efficiency of up to 19.3 kilometers per liter. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that mimics a seven-speed sequential gearbox, providing strong, seamless acceleration from startup and low speeds, along with quiet, efficient, and highly fuel-efficient performance at higher speeds.
The new vehicle features a distinctive front end with a high hood and a large hexagonal grille. Slim LED headlights and chrome accents add an elegant, sporty touch. Prominent lines extending from the front to the rear emphasize the car’s length and bold presence, complemented by large wheels and textured fenders. At the rear, long taillight clusters enhance the vehicle’s wide, assertive appearance.
Toyota placed special emphasis on comfort and user-friendliness throughout the 2023 Filoza’s interior. Upon entering, passengers are greeted by ambient lighting that enhances the sense of spaciousness, supported by a suite of advanced and practical features. These include a 7-inch color multi-information display (MID) in the center of the dashboard, complemented by an 8-inch multimedia screen equipped with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ for a seamless connectivity experience. The vehicle also features a wireless phone charging pad and three dedicated USB ports for the first and second rows, plus two 12-volt power outlets for other devices.
The three-row seating configuration can accommodate up to seven passengers. The second and third rows can be folded together or individually, offering flexible arrangements that maximize passenger space or cargo capacity—including room for longer items. The vehicle also includes generous storage solutions throughout the cabin, including 12 cup or bottle holders.
The 2023 Toyota Filoza is available in six distinctive exterior colors: Pearl White Platinum, Silky Metallic, Metallic Gray, Dark Red Metallic, Metallic Black, and the newly introduced Purple Silver Metallic. Inside, the spacious cabin features an elegant two-tone color scheme in black and gray. The new model comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, finished in a ten-spoke design that enhances the vehicle’s overall visual appeal.
