Toyota Urban Cruiser 2023 has been unveiled by Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, marking the latest addition to Toyota's lineup of versatile SUVs in the Kingdom. The new model combines exceptional fuel efficiency, a reimagined design, spacious interior cabin, and a wide array of advanced features.
Designed to emulate crossover SUVs, the new Toyota Urban Cruiser delivers a comfortable and adaptable driving experience suited for an active lifestyle. It is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an integrated starter-generator that functions as both an electric generator and electric motor, delivering 101 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque. The innovative "Neo Drive" system significantly reduces fuel consumption, achieving up to 19.8 km per liter. This system is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission, ensuring strong performance at low speeds and smooth stop-and-go operation.
The 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser stands out with its rigid body structure and superior suspension system, complemented by excellent maneuverability thanks to a compact turning radius of just 5.4 meters—offering enhanced control, stability, and driving comfort. The front suspension features a MacPherson strut design, ensuring smooth and safe handling with responsive driving dynamics. Meanwhile, the rear suspension setup provides greater stability, especially during high-speed acceleration or sharp turns.
The sleek exterior design boasts a distinctive crystal acrylic upper grille with elegant chrome accents. The daytime running lights (DRL) feature a broad side strip that runs along both sides of the Toyota emblem, lending a modern and striking appearance. To enhance its distinctive appeal, the 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser is available in seven exterior colors: pearl white, metallic silver, metallic gray, pearl red, pearl black, brown, and blue. Customers can choose two-tone combinations, pairing pearl black with either pearl white, metallic silver, pearl red, or blue. Interior color options are equally sophisticated, featuring either a single black finish or a dual-tone black and burgundy scheme. The 17-inch alloy wheels further elevate the vehicle’s elegant appearance.
