Delivery of the first Mustang Mach 1 vehicles inspired by the iconic 1969 original Mach 1 has begun through dealerships of Al-Tayar Motors and Premier Motors.
This new version of the world’s best-selling sports car delivers exceptional performance powered by a 5-liter V8 engine tuned specifically to produce 480 horsepower, along with unique transmission specifications, custom aerodynamic designs, and advanced cooling systems for high-performance components—ensuring consistent and superior track-level performance.
The Mustang Mach 1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and features 22% higher downforce compared to the GT model, significantly enhancing cornering stability and high-speed handling. In celebration of the iconic Mach 1 badge making its debut in the region, this limited-edition model features race-inspired design elements, specifications, and details tailored to meet the expectations of enthusiasts seeking high-performance sports cars.
The V8 engine has undergone special tuning to deliver a distinctive sound that appeals to Mustang fans. Built entirely from aluminum, it combines a high-performance external air intake system, an 87mm throttle body, a low-pressure fuel injection system, and a high-pressure direct injection system, generating 480 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 569 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm.
The transmission benefits from a dedicated oil cooler, a rear axle cooling system, and a limited-slip differential for optimal and consistent power delivery to the road. It also includes a secondary air-cooled oil cooler that increases cooling capacity by 75%.
The suspension system is engineered to reduce rearward squat during acceleration and front-end dive under braking, while maintaining improved ride height. It incorporates secondary structures and connection components proven effective on the Shelby GT350 and GT500 models. The unique five-spoke alloy wheels measure 19 inches wide—0.5 inches wider than standard—and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, offering exceptional grip on both roads and racetracks.
Bold exterior color schemes feature a gray “Fighter Jet” finish with glossy black/orange reflective stripes, orange brake calipers, and a vibrant yellow option with satin black/white accents. The “Mach 1” badges appear clearly on the rear hatch and front fenders regardless of chosen color. The high-performance active valve exhaust system features four chrome-plated 4.5-inch outlets, giving the car a distinctive appearance and a powerful, unmatched soundtrack.
Inside the cabin, sport seats are upholstered in premium leather with metallic gray embroidery. Each interior includes a unique badge on the dashboard bearing the “Mach 1” logo and unit number.
