Al Ta'ir Motors, the official importer and distributor of Ford vehicles in the UAE, has announced the launch of the completely new Mustang lineup in the country, featuring five distinct models, including the exciting Dark Horse variant. All models will be available at Al Ta'ir Motors showrooms and Premier Motors showrooms in Abu Dhabi.
The 2024 Mustang lineup includes the GT, GT Premium, convertible Premium GT, the thrilling Dark Horse, and the Dark Horse with appearance packages. Prices start from AED 219,345, inclusive of service packages and a five-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty.

Al Ta'ir Motors and Premier Motors will host a Mustang showcase event at Ford showrooms from February 23 to 25 to celebrate the arrival of the new models, with all vehicles available for test drives through trial sessions at Ford showrooms in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain, and Abu Dhabi.
After sixty years since its debut, the completely new Ford Mustang arrives in the Middle East, blending a commanding presence with exhilarating performance. With the seventh generation today, Mustang adds a fresh chapter to its legendary story, highlighted by bold styling, smooth handling, and a powerful engine that enthusiasts of the world’s best-selling sports car have eagerly anticipated over the past decade.
The seventh-generation Mustang brings modern elegance and imposing stature to its design, inspired by the iconic vehicle’s heritage. The car features a low horizontal hood emphasizing its wide front end, complemented by a prominent upper grille and rear lights closely resembling those of the original first-generation Mustang, along with a sleek roofline, a poised launch stance, and a short rear deck. The Tri-Bar LED headlights preserve the classic lighting signature of the model.
Both the GT 5.0 and GT Premium 5.0 variants, as well as the convertible Premium GT 5.0, feature updated front grilles and rear spoilers. The top-tier Dark Horse model stands out with unique front grilles bearing the iconic Pony Badge, striking front and rear bumper designs, plus distinctive upper, lower, and side body panels.
The convertible Mustang stays true to its heritage with a retractable soft top offering maximum open-air freedom. With a single touch and a central lever, the fully insulated canvas roof opens or closes seamlessly. The integrated roof design and independent rear suspension deliver class-leading trunk space—capable of accommodating up to two golf bags.
The completely new Mustang arrives in the Middle East with 11 standard colors, plus a twelfth exclusive color reserved for the Dark Horse model: Fiery Blue. The Dark Horse also features six-piston Brembo front brake calipers with larger rotors, and a 19-inch Brembo braking system with high-performance pads.
The high-performance rear wing takes center stage on both the GT Premium 5.0 and Dark Horse trims of the new Mustang.
The Dark Horse model includes additional blue accents on the seats, a black painted roof, unique brake caliper covers, the renowned Grabber Blue color associated with Mustang, and a distinctive engine cover decal.
Behind the bold exterior of the seventh-generation Mustang lies a cockpit more technologically advanced and driver-focused than any Mustang ever built. Inspired by fighter jet cockpits, the driver enjoys two smoothly curved screens that can be quickly adjusted to display the information the driver wants or needs to see.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features a chrome ring and an adjustable steering column, paired with an electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) system offering selectable driving modes—speed control, sound tuning, and torque feedback.
The 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster can be customized to display various animated layouts and dynamic visuals based on driving mode. Leveraging Unreal Engine 3D technology used in modern video games, real-time graphics render the vehicle's current settings on the central display when custom driving modes are selected. Settings can be adjusted effortlessly using swipe gestures, mimicking a realistic gaming interface.
The large 13.2-inch touchscreen central display takes pride of place, providing easy access to all key controls for the driver and front passenger in the new Mustang.
The completely new Mustang is equipped with a suite of advanced driver assistance technologies for maximum safety. CoPilot360 comes standard, featuring BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with traffic alert, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking (pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, and dynamic brake support), rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control. Lane-keeping assist is available on GT 5.0, convertible, and Dark Horse trims, including lane departure warnings. Adaptive cruise control ensures a smooth journey even on busy roads.
Thanks to the advanced fourth-generation Coyote V8 engine with a 5.0-liter displacement, the Mustang delivers more horsepower than ever before, enhanced by innovative dual air intake and dual-throat body design, minimizing induction loss by maximizing airflow efficiency.
Drivers can choose between a 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift sequential shifting capability or a 6-speed manual MT82-D4 gearbox for those seeking direct engagement with the V8 engine, featuring a Dual Mass Flywheel and Twin Disc Clutch. The GT model with manual transmission includes the standard rev-matching system, helping maintain optimal engine RPM during clutch engagement. This system preserves peak torque between gear shifts, enhancing precision, excitement, and overall control. For drivers prioritizing performance above all else, the Dark Horse offers an additional option: a unique TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission.
