Cadillac has announced that distinguished customers and enthusiasts of luxury electric vehicles in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait can now apply to purchase the exclusive 'Lyriq First Edition,' the brand’s first fully electric vehicle, starting July 10, 2023.
As its name suggests, the First Edition is the initial version of the Lyriq available to luxury car clients in the UAE and Kuwait. Since the global unveiling of the Cadillac Lyriq, anticipation has been high ahead of its market launch. As the first fully electric vehicle ever developed by Cadillac, the Lyriq seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with elegant design, elevating standards of comfort and luxury to new heights.
The Lyriq First Edition will be available exclusively in Celestial Metallic exterior paint, featuring a black panoramic sunroof and an interior cabin styled in Oxford Stone with unique badges. The Lyriq comes equipped with a suite of distinctive features designed around connectivity and safety. As part of General Motors’ commitment to prioritizing safety, the First Edition includes a three-year subscription to OnStar to further enhance connectivity capabilities.

The Lyriq First Edition is equipped with pioneering technologies and impressive performance capabilities, thanks to its dedicated electric architecture. It features a battery pack composed of 12 modules totaling 102 kWh, along with the all-wheel-drive Ultium platform, delivering approximately 500 horsepower and 610 Newton-meters of torque, according to Cadillac estimates, with a range of about 494 kilometers on a full charge.
Aesthetically, the Lyriq First Edition is a visual delight. The interior cabin emphasizes purity and simplicity, focusing on refined design elements, including intricate laser-engraved wood patterns integrated into metallic trim—something never seen before. The central feature is the advanced 33-inch inclined LED display, complemented by the signature black crystal grille. All components are artfully integrated, blurring the lines between technology, lighting, and interior detailing.
It should be noted that only a limited number of applications will be accepted. Therefore, Cadillac urges customers in the UAE and Kuwait who wish to acquire the Lyriq First Edition to act quickly and submit their requests promptly to be among the first to join this new era of premium driving in the Middle East.
