The Hankook 24 Hour Race has become a key global motorsport event and is now the second-largest series of 24-hour endurance races worldwide, attracting participants from around the globe. This year, WRT officially kicks off its campaign with the BMW Motorsport Team, fielding two new BMW M4 GT3 race cars.
The 18th edition of the Hankook 24 Hour Race in Dubai will also feature Valentino Rossi, a six-time MotoGP world champion, joining the BMW Racing team. This marks the 'Doctor’s' debut in the 24-hour endurance racing series. The Italian champion has won world titles in three different categories—500cc, 250cc, and 125cc—and will race alongside Maxime Martin, winner of the Spa 24 Hours Challenge and Le Mans 24 Hours class victor, Sean Gelael, driver for WRT and WEC LMP2, and British racer Tim White, currently competing in the European GT4 Championship.
