Bentley Motors agent requested five custom-designed Bentley models, marking the first exclusive Mulliner creation ever developed for the Indian market. Each model features enhanced specifications with unique exterior and interior touches inspired by Indian national colors. All vehicles were crafted in Crewe, England, by Mulliner—the luxury carmaker’s bespoke design and customization division.
Part of this exclusive collection, the Opulence Edition for India, is limited to just five units: Continental GT Speed, Flying Spur Speed, and three Bentayga EWB Azure variants. All models feature a distinctive final finish in Scarab Green—a specially developed shade inspired by the iridescent green hue of the scarab beetle. This color is complemented by exclusive interior trims in Mandarin orange and Cumbrian green, paying tribute to India’s national colors.
Although each model reflects a distinct personality, all five share exclusive design elements. They all showcase the gleaming Scarab Green exterior finish, originally developed for the two-seater sports car Bacalar—Bentley’s first bespoke open-top vehicle. Inside, India’s national colors—orange and green—are expressed through a primary Mandarin orange upholstery and secondary Cumbrian green trim. The piano-black wood veneer on the dashboard and decorative elements also receive a Cumbrian green finish, while the front grille features a chrome-inlaid emblem of galloping horses and mountain peaks. Based on initial briefs, designers and craftsmen worked diligently to refine various sketches until achieving the perfect balance. The design was hand-drawn and meticulously applied to the dashboard using chrome inlay techniques. This unique color and specification represent close collaboration between Bentley in Mumbai and the Mulliner team, celebrating the first-ever Mulliner-exclusive creation tailored specifically for the Indian market.
The Continental GT Speed, delivering 659 horsepower (PS), exemplifies performance excellence in a luxury sports car that sets global benchmarks. The Opulence Edition enhances its character perfectly. The striking Scarab Green exterior, combined with dark-finish 22-inch Speed wheels, emphasizes its bold lines. LED welcome lighting and self-balancing central wheel badges are hallmark details reflecting Mulliner’s meticulous attention to craftsmanship.
Flying Spur Speed from the Opulence Edition includes diamond-cut edges on instrument dials and control knobs, the Naim for Bentley audio system, and Bentley’s signature rotating display. Throughout the cabin, side trims feature contrasting stitching in Mandarin orange, while headrests bear embroidered "Speed" logos.
The focus on performance is most evident in the Opulence Edition’s exquisite Scarab Green exterior finish, matched with dark-finish 22-inch Speed wheels featuring self-balancing central badges. The illuminated, winged Flying B emblem above the radiator receives a polished stainless steel finish, creating a striking contrast against the darker, matte-accented Speed features.
The flagship Flying Spur model is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine with twin turbochargers, producing 626 horsepower. Standard features include electronic all-wheel steering, torque vectoring by brake, and Bentley Dynamic Ride for optimal handling. Only one unit of the Flying Spur Speed will be produced under the Opulence Edition.
The Bentayga EWB Azure stands out as a vehicle that delivers an exhilarating experience, but the Opulence Edition focuses on spaciousness, comfort, and ultimate luxury. Only three units of this model will be built, configured as a four-seat layout with a champagne cooler in the Mulliner console separating the rear seats. Contrasting Mandarin orange embroidery runs along the upper edge of the dashboard and seat side panels, while Cumbrian green stitching appears on the outer parts of the quilted seats and headrests bearing the embossed "Azure" logo.
Equipped with a 48-volt active roll mitigation system as part of Bentley Dynamic Ride, the vehicle ensures optimal balance between ride comfort, stability, and structural control. Thus, the Bentayga EWB Azure Opulence Edition offers unmatched space for relaxation and serenity.
