Bentley has introduced the Mulliner Blackline specifications for the GT and GT Convertible models, responding to the widespread popularity and strong demand for the striking black exterior enhancements that are now offered as an option across the entire Bentley model range.
By offering a bold black alternative to the traditional chrome exterior elements on Bentley’s flagship high-performance Grand Tourer, Mulliner adds a more dramatic, darkened aesthetic to this highly popular four-seater luxury vehicle, further expanding the diverse customization options available to customers.
Designed by skilled artisans at Mulliner, the GT Mulliner Blackline features a suite of exterior refinements compared to the standard GT and GT Convertible Mulliner variants, delivering an updated touch of ultimate luxury. This new option responds directly to growing customer interest in black-themed accessories and trim packages, with 38% of international orders for the Continental GT family now including this feature.
In this context, all external components—except for the Bentley winged B logo—are finished in black, including the radiator grille frame. Instead of the polished silver mirror caps found on the GT Mulliner, the mirrors on the Blackline version feature a glossy Beluga black finish. The exclusive Mulliner matrix-style air vents receive a black treatment with a bright Mulliner emblem accent, while the radiator grille remains black with a luminous three-dimensional edge. The lower bumper grilles also adopt a black finish.
GT Mulliner Blackline models come standard with 22-inch black-painted wheels featuring self-leveling badges and a chromed ring. As an alternative, a future Mulliner black wheel with polished contrasting pockets will be available soon.
The luxurious and elegant interior of the GT Mulliner Blackline remains unchanged from the current Mulliner version, allowing customers to enjoy any color combination from the extensive Mulliner palette or one of eight pre-designed tri-color schemes, using a wide selection of upholstery and thread options.
As part of the standard Mulliner Driving Specifications, the cabin features Bentley’s unique ‘diamond within diamond’ embroidery on seats, doors, and rear quarter panels, rendered with a mirrored, harmonious pattern. With approximately 400,000 individual stitches per car, each diamond contains exactly 712 precise stitches, perfectly aligned to reflect the center point of the diamond shape—a clear testament to unmatched craftsmanship in the automotive industry.
Depending on region, customers can now choose between Bentley’s iconic 6.0-liter W12 engine with twin turbochargers, producing 626 horsepower (635 PS), or the dynamic 4.0-liter V8 engine generating 542 horsepower (550 PS), both delivering effortless luxury performance expected from the pinnacle of high-performance luxury vehicles.
Adding the Blackline variant to the Mulliner GT lineup strengthens Bentley’s position as the world’s leading manufacturer of premium high-performance sports cars, offering bespoke solutions for the most discerning and demanding customers seeking truly unique vehicles that reflect their individuality. In essence, it brings a contemporary touch to the world’s most renowned luxury coupe.
