Updated 06:23 AM,Feb 12,2023

Aston Martin has unveiled the DBS 770 Ultimate, the latest and most prominent model in the exceptional DBS family, coinciding with the impending conclusion of production for the DBS lineup. The new car represents the most significant and advanced addition to the British brand's powerful and luxurious DBS range, synonymous with distinctive elegance and outstanding performance. The DBS series has stood out as Aston Martin's flagship since 2018, thanks to its twin-turbocharged 12-cylinder engine delivering top-tier performance and excellence.

The name DBS 770 Ultimate reflects the extraordinary power it embodies, making it the most powerful and fastest Aston Martin ever produced to date. This is complemented by its aerodynamic design and engineering enhancements, establishing it as a unique name among Aston Martin’s high-performance grand tourers. A limited number of these vehicles will be available—300 coupes and 199 Volante variants—with all units sold before the official launch.

Equipped with a 5.2-liter V12 engine featuring a dual overhead camshaft configuration, the car delivers an impressive 770 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 900 Nm of torque between 1,800 and 5,000 rpm, enabling a top speed of 211 mph. The powerful engine benefits from optimized airflow and ignition pathways, along with a 7% increase in turbocharger boost pressure. The vehicle achieves optimal balance between power and torque curves, enhancing driving dynamics, responsiveness, faster gear shifts, and delivering an exceptional engine roar.

The car features an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission paired with a mechanical limited-slip differential on the rear axle. Enhanced gearbox tuning improves shift speed and increases driver engagement. The DBS 770 Ultimate also includes carbon ceramic brakes with front discs measuring 410 mm × 38 mm and rear discs at 360 mm × 32 mm.

Astom Martin equipped the DBS 770 Ultimate with a reinforced steering column to improve steering response and provide the driver with more precise feedback about road conditions and front tire behavior, significantly enhancing vehicle control.

The British manufacturer improved side rigidity at the front of the car by 25%, maximizing driver performance and responsiveness through enhanced front suspension support and increased thickness of the rear underbody, alongside a 3% increase in torsional stiffness for optimal handling balance.

Innovative technologies in the DBS 770 Ultimate are seamlessly integrated with bold, exceptional styling and unique aesthetic details reflecting the brand’s most advanced achievements to date.

The DBS 770 Ultimate features external components made from 2×2 twill carbon fiber weave, an improved windshield surround, mirrored covers, and side vents. Carbon fiber door sills reflect the car’s lower front profile, giving it a more stable and robust appearance. The rear diffuser is designed to maintain aerodynamic balance from front to rear while contributing to the car’s striking visual identity from both angles.

The car comes fitted with 21-inch wheels available in three styles inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Victor models. These feature glossy silver for a bolder look, glossy black for a modern sporty aesthetic, or glossy black with diamond-inspired patterns for a majestic and luxurious appearance. Standard tires include Pirelli P Zero 265/35 R21 on the front and 305/30 R21 on the rear across all models.

Inside, the DBS 770 Ultimate boasts modern and refined interior designs reflecting the hallmark style of DBS models. It features Sports Plus seats upholstered in Aniline leather and Alcantara, adorned with the brand’s winged logo and a unique perforation pattern as standard. High-performance seats from Aston Martin are also available as an option. Contrasting colors for trim and stitching add sophistication, while a custom center armrest strap and clip bearing the laser-engraved DBS 770 Ultimate emblem are included. A carbon fiber gear lever is standard.

The DBS 770 Ultimate also features distinctive door sills displaying the Aston Martin logo and a secondary emblem indicating the car’s limited edition status among coupé and Volante variants.

Customers can personalize their new DBS 770 Ultimate just like any other Aston Martin model. A wide range of customization options is available through Aston Martin’s Q by Aston Martin service, including visually diverse upholstery patterns, body-colored wheels, carbon fiber seatbacks, interior trim panels, and a carbon fiber steering wheel.

Production of the DBS 770 Ultimate is scheduled to begin in Q1 2023, with deliveries to customers commencing in Q3 of the same year.
