Aston Martin and Aprilia Superior have unveiled the exclusive track-only AMB 001 Pro motorcycle, powered by a 997cc engine inspired by the legendary Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar, during the International Motorcycle Show in Milan.
This limited-edition model marks the latest collaboration in design between the two brands, combining Aston Martin’s exceptional styling with Aprilia Superior’s advanced motorcycle engineering.
The Pro version is available in a single specification—the latest iteration of the AMB 001, which has already sold out—delivering maximum performance on par with the high-performance Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro that inspired it. It features a 25% increase in power over its predecessor, producing 225 horsepower and achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 1.28 horsepower per kilogram—matching the performance levels of a Formula 1 car.
The new AMB 001 Pro builds on the expertise both companies gained from manufacturing the original AMB 001, offering an unmatched riding experience. The enhanced power comes from a 997cc twin-cylinder engine featuring full digital control via computer, entirely constructed from high-strength aluminum 5000 alloy, providing ideal structural rigidity. The redesigned cylinder configuration with wet liners improves cooling efficiency.
The new model features a uniform specification: Aston Martin’s signature light green color with carbon fiber accents, while the engine and suspension system are finished in black ceramic. These design elements are highlighted with touches of lime green, reflecting Aston Martin’s rich racing heritage.
The motorcycle bears the iconic Aston Martin logo, as seen on the brand’s high-performance luxury models. Specifically designed for the Valkyrie lineup, this emblem is crafted from etched aluminum using a chemical process, making it 99.4% lighter than traditional badges and just 70 microns thick—30% thinner than a human hair. The logo is mounted at the front of the bike and on the fuel tank, beneath the final paint layer and above the clear coat.
Pre-orders for the limited AMB 001 Pro are now open. Each unit will be handcrafted at Aprilia Superior’s factory in Toulouse, France, with first deliveries beginning in Q4 2023.
