Magic World Characters in Dubai

The Dubai team introduced two main characters designed to bring happiness and delight to both kids and adults. The first is Magic, and the second is Dana. We’ll learn more about them in the following sections.

Magic

Magic embodies the spirit of summer in Dubai with his striking presence and vibrant colors. He has been the official ambassador of Dubai Summer Surprises since 2000 and continues to represent fun-filled events and activities. You’ll see him on road signs, shopping centers, and advertising boards throughout the city.

Magic first appeared in a television ad in 2000, coinciding with the launch of the Magic World concept. The name reflects wonder—inspired by the idea of a character emerging from a box, leading children on a weekly journey of discovery through Dubai Summer Surprises, unveiling a new surprise each week. Every year, starting in July, Magic returns to invite everyone, young and old, to celebrate and have fun.

Dana

Dana is Magic’s clever and inventive friend who always accompanies him and helps solve any challenges he faces. She finds smart solutions to problems and joins him in his adventures, even though she loves working in her lab. Always busy finding ways to improve things, she ensures a brighter future for everyone.

Dana is naturally curious, imaginative, and committed to doing everything perfectly. She encourages children to explore, create, question, and experiment.

2025 Magic World Program

This family-oriented entertainment and educational program takes place across Dubai during summer and is organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment. Magic returns across the city from June 27 to August 31, 2025, offering visitors unforgettable experiences, fun carnival games, and a delightful tour through the indoor garden at the Dubai World Trade Centre—specifically in Halls 2 to 7 and the Pavilion Hall.

Participants can solve puzzles and answer questions posted on Magic’s Instagram within 24 hours to win gift cards from Mercato Mall, as well as chances to win entry tickets to popular entertainment destinations such as the Museum of the Future and many others.

Magic World Ticket Prices

If you're planning to visit this destination at the Dubai World Trade Centre, we’re happy to inform you that admission to Magic World is completely free for all age groups. However, there may be optional fees for game cards, typically ranging from 15 to 45 AED. These cards unlock over 120 entertainment options and include access to several free workshops, allowing guests to fully enjoy a wide range of interactive games.
