Infinity unveiled its 2022 QX80 SUV, now available across Middle Eastern showrooms in three distinct trims: SENSORY, ProACTIVE, and Black Edition. The model features an upgraded interior with a larger touchscreen display and a wireless smartphone charger.
Significant enhancements were introduced for the 2022 model year, including a redesigned center console housing a high-resolution 12.3-inch InTouch display. This system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via USB, enabling seamless entertainment on the go. A new wireless charging pad is also included, along with a premium Bose Performance audio system.
The ProACTIVE and Black Edition trims come equipped with a smart rearview mirror that provides an unobstructed view of the area behind the vehicle, even when the third row is occupied or luggage is present. These models also feature a comprehensive vehicle monitoring system with motion detection and front and rear ultrasonic sensors to assist with parking in tight spaces. Enhanced safety is achieved through advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, rear collision avoidance, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and proactive intervention features.
The modern three-row seating is upholstered in leather or aniline leather, with optional foldable and adjustable armrests for the second-row seats. The front cabin offers temperature control and a Bose audio system featuring 17 speakers.
The 2022 QX80 boasts a bold exterior design, highlighted by 22-inch alloy wheels and dark chrome accents. Under the hood lies a powerful 5.6-liter V8 engine delivering 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and Infinity’s full-time four-wheel drive system, enhancing both performance and driving ease.
The vehicle features a double-wishbone independent four-wheel suspension system, combined with a hydraulic body motion control system for a smooth and confident ride. An automatic self-adapting rear suspension enhances towing capability and overall handling.
The SENSORY trim includes full leather upholstery, 22-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch InTouch display, a high-performance Bose audio system with 13 speakers, a power rear liftgate, and other premium features.
The ProACTIVE trim adds Infinity’s proactive safety suite, enhanced towing capabilities, and bright chrome exterior details. The exclusive Black Edition, available only in Gulf countries, features 22-inch aluminum wheels with dark finishes, dark chrome and black exterior accents on side mirrors, front grilles, and side bumper vents.
