The iconic full-size SUV, the Chevrolet Tahoe, returns with enhanced features and equipment, launching the 2022 model lineup equipped with advanced integrated Google technology to elevate the in-vehicle experience and reinforce General Motors' leadership in connectivity. Meanwhile, the all-new RST trim level brings entirely new levels of performance and design to the full-size SUV segment.
The 2022 Tahoe is now available in the completely redesigned RST trim, unveiling a fresh identity for this legendary full-size SUV. While the Z71 trim enables thrilling off-road adventures across sand dunes, the RST stands out with its powerful presence, emphasizing sleek styling and high-performance dynamics—delivering an SUV always ready for action and excitement, while consistently turning heads.
The 2022 Tahoe RST comes standard with the renowned 6.2-liter V8 engine paired with a dual exhaust system. It also features Magnetic Ride Control technology—the fastest-reacting damping system in the automotive industry—combined with the standard adaptive air suspension at all four corners, allowing for four adjustable ride heights to enhance control, comfort, and efficiency.
Both the Tahoe RST and Tahoe Z71 include an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), emphasizing the sports car DNA to deliver improved driving performance in a full-size SUV. When wheel slip is detected on any side of the vehicle, the eLSD instantly responds by redirecting power to the wheel with better traction. This added grip can significantly boost driver confidence when navigating challenging terrain or harsh weather conditions.
The Tahoe RST is optionally available with high-performance Brembo brakes at both front and rear, catering to discerning drivers seeking enhanced performance capabilities, offering the best braking performance available in a full-size SUV.
The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe redefines interior design with the introduction of a virtual cockpit, leveraging cutting-edge technology to elevate the driver’s experience. At the center of this innovation is a 12.3-inch high-resolution display located behind the steering wheel, enabling drivers to view vehicle information and access various functions in a completely new way. With a fully customizable screen, drivers can personalize the display layout and select the information they want to see.
